Europe is producing high-quality, innovative security solutions, but many of them never make it to the market. This is where procurers come in. Procurers can act as a catalyst for innovation, shaping the security market and enabling it to respond to ever new challenges.
iProcureNet is a 5-year project running from May 2019 to April 2024 and funded by the European Commission.
iProcureNet aims to create an ecosystem of procurers, prescribers, legal advisors and other key stakeholders of security procurement, to share procurement trends and needs, and open pathways for innovation in procurement and joint procurement across EU member states.

An innovative methodology
In an innovative three-cycle process, iProcureNet will map the European procurement environment, compare national investment strategies, identify innovation needs, and analyse security markets.
Security procurement practitioners as well as experts from academy and industry contribute to the development of common and standardised joint procurement practices and innovative approaches, and thus prepare a larger uptake and a common European security market.
