iProcureNet Coordinator Interview in ‘Profession Achats’

The specialist magazine ‘Profession Achat’ released on 31 March 2022, an interview with Jorge Garzon, project coordinator of iProcureNet for the French Ministry of Interior.

The article, with the title “iProcureNet – Security Procurement in Europe”, addresses important concepts of the project: its purposes, its origins and its obstacles and challenges.

“Profession Achats” is the magazine for members of the CNA (Conseil National des Achats), the French National Purchasing Council. The CNA, with nearly 15 000 members, represents the purchasing world in France, in all sectors of the economy. It has been estimated that the interview reached nearly 20 000 people, 2000 members of industry and 15 000 policy makers, guaranteeing an important promotion of the project in France, with particular reference to its coming Annual Conference event.

iProcureNet sits at the EAFIP round table

iProcureNet participated to a round table event organised by EAFIP (European Assistance for Innovation Procurement) on 29th March 2022. The event involved representatives of the DG CONNECT and DG HOME from the European Commission, as well as European stakeholders, like representatives from the Spanish Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Dutch Ministry of Defence and the Polish Platform for Homeland Security. Ultimately, this was an occasion to exchange with different European partners about PCP and PPI innovative solutions in the field of internal security, as well as to discuss about possibilities of an enhanced Membr States cooperation and coordination in the security domain.

Innovation Procurement: Cybersecurity & Dual Use Workshop by EAFIP

 

iProcureNet is delighted to be invited to present at the workshop by the European Assistance for Innovation Procurement (EAFIP) to be held on 13 January 2022.

This 4-hour workshop will focus on how to strategically use innovation procurement in the field of cybersecurity and dual use. The topic will be tackled from different perspectives, including ongoing policy initiatives in Europe and practical experiences from a number of interesting case studies. There will be also the opportunity to ask questions and room for discussion.

Jozef Kubinec from the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic will speak for the iProcureNet project and discuss Joint Cross-Border Public Procurement and PCP.
